The Leather in our Handbags
We start with the leather, the most important material of all. Our leathers have a "buttery soft" feel, giving the bag the texture that our clients demand. We use two different types of leather in our handbags, both tanned in the two countries in the world best known for leather, Italy and Argentina.
Our Italian Lambskin is light and glove soft, this gives our slouchy handbags that rich soft feeling with just enough structure. This leather is used by many of the top designers for its buttery soft texture.
Our pebbled Argentinean Cowhide, a more sturdy yet luxuriously soft leather with a naked feeling. This leather is free of finishing chemicals which can give leather that plastic synthetic feeling.
The Hardware in Our Handbags
Our gold colored metal hardware is plated with 18k gold gold giving it a true color for years to come. Many lower quality finishes may react with the leather, causing tarnishing and discoloration over short periods of time. We also offer antique brass and silver hardware on specific models.
The Top Quality Zippers We Use
We use world renowned YKK zippers. For the external portion of our bags we use polished metallic zippers which are used by virtually all Premier Handbag designers
Our Suede Liners Are Luxurious
Our bags come standard with a beige suede leather lining. This gives the bag a rich luxurious feel inside as well as out. Each bag has an internal zipper pocket as well as a large and small cell phone/ blackberry sized pocket.
How Our Handbags are Made
We are not a large assembly line operation. We view our business as a lost art and utilize old world craftsman techniques handed down in many cases from our artisans forefathers. They take these select raw materials and handcraft them into a designer quality handbag, one by one. You will notice the difference between our bags and that of mass produced ones.
